I really want to try "slugging" (putting a thin layer of Aquaphor or Vaseline over your moisturizer at night) because my skin is so dry and irritated from the winter weather. But I get occasional breakouts and I’m terrified it’s going to seal in bacteria and give me massive cystic acne by morning. Has anyone with acne-prone or combination skin successfully tried slugging? Or should I avoid it?
